The Mauser C96 when selected in the menu
The Mauser C96 is an early semi-automatic pistol design that fires the 7.63x25mm Mauser cartridge (although some variants fired the more standard 9mm Parabellum cartridge). As its name states, the Mauser C96 was first designed in 1896, when semi-automatic pistols first took hold. It is unique in that its magazine is fed through stripper clips, just like bolt action rifles.

The Mauser C96 is an interesting pistol, but stats aren't as good as its competitors.
- Deals 35-20 damage (42-24 damage with Stopping Power)
- Fire rate is capped at 1200 RPM (1440 RPM with Double Tap)
- 10 round magazine
- Tactical reload takes 2.5 seconds (1.25 second with Sleight of Hand)
- Empty reload takes 4 seconds (2 seconds with Sleight of Hand)

the attachment selection is rather unusual for a pistol, but it is also less versatile.
- Flashlight (illuminates dark areas while blinding enemy players)
- Stock (less recoil and viewkick when attached)
Notes[]
- The Mauser C96 shares its magazine capacity with the Gewehr 43, SVT-40, MonDragon, and the Lee-Enfield.
- On the weapon model there are numbers near and on the magazine input, numbered 1-18. They can only be viewed when sprinting.
